1. Company Information

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the booking of services provided by:

Hereinafter referred to as “MTG Travel”, “Company”, “we”, or “us”.

By making a booking, you (“Client” or “Passenger”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

MTG Travel provides:

  • Private airport transfers

  • Point-to-point transfers

  • Hourly chauffeur services

  • Private tours

  • Transportation for groups

MTG Travel may operate services:

  • Directly with owned vehicles

  • Through licensed professional drivers

  • Through legally authorized subcontracted transport providers

All subcontractors are legally licensed and insured according to Greek law.

3. Booking & Contract Formation

A booking request does not constitute a confirmed contract.

The contract is formed only when:

  1. The Client receives written confirmation by email, AND

  2. Payment (full or partial) has been received, where applicable.

MTG Travel reserves the right to:

  • Refuse any booking

  • Cancel a booking due to operational reasons

  • Modify vehicle type if necessary (equal or higher category)

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Euro (€).

Prices include:

  • Vehicle

  • Driver

  • Fuel

  • Road tolls (unless otherwise stated)

  • 60 minutes waiting time for airport arrivals (unless otherwise specified)

Prices do NOT include (unless stated):

  • Additional waiting time

  • Extra stops not pre-booked

  • Overnight driver accommodation

  • VAT (if excluded in offer)

  • Parking fees (if applicable and not specified)

Payments may be made via:

  • Credit/Debit card

  • Online payment gateway

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash to driver (if agreed)

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation without notice.

5. Cancellations & Refund Policy

5.1 Standard Cancellation

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time (local Greek time).

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to pickup are non-refundable.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

5.2 Flight Delays

For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals.

If the flight is delayed:

  • We will adjust pickup time accordingly (within reasonable limits).

If the flight is diverted or canceled:

  • The Client must inform us immediately.

  • Refund eligibility will be evaluated case-by-case.

6. Waiting Time Policy

Airport Arrivals:

  • 60 minutes free waiting time from actual landing time.

After 60 minutes:

  • Additional waiting charges may apply.

  • If the Client is unreachable, the booking may be marked as no-show.

Non-Airport Pickups:

  • 15 minutes free waiting time.

  • After that, additional charges may apply.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking details

  • Providing correct flight number and arrival time

  • Providing a valid mobile number (with country code)

  • Being reachable at pickup time

Failure to provide accurate information may result in:

  • Missed transfer

  • No refund

  • Additional charges

8. Missed Flights Disclaimer

MTG Travel is not responsible for missed flights where:

  • The Client selected insufficient travel time

  • Incorrect pickup time was provided

  • Incorrect flight details were provided

  • Delays were caused by traffic, accidents, force majeure, or third parties

Clients are advised to schedule airport arrival at least 3 hours before departure.

9. Baggage Policy

Each passenger is entitled to:

  • 1 standard suitcase (max 158cm total dimensions)

Excess baggage, oversized luggage, strollers, sports equipment, or additional passengers must be declared during booking.

Failure to declare may result in:

  • Refusal of service without refund

  • Additional vehicle charges

All luggage is transported at the passenger’s own risk. MTG Travel is not liable for loss or damage unless caused by proven gross negligence.

10. Passenger Conduct

Drivers reserve the right to refuse service if passengers:

  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Display aggressive or dangerous behavior

  • Cause damage to the vehicle

No refund will be provided in such cases.

Passengers are liable for any damage caused to vehicles.

11. Subcontractors & Third Parties

MTG Travel may subcontract licensed drivers or transport providers.

Where subcontractors are used:

  • MTG Travel remains the contracting party.

  • Operational liability is limited as stated below.

MTG Travel is not responsible for services booked independently outside our booking system.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MTG Travel’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific booking.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, or force majeure.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud

  • Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under Greek or EU law

13. Force Majeure

MTG Travel shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather

  • Strikes

  • Political unrest

  • Government restrictions

  • Road accidents

  • Infrastructure disruptions

In such cases, alternative arrangements may be offered without additional liability.

14. Insurance

All vehicles used are insured in accordance with Greek legislation.

Insurance coverage is subject to the terms and limitations of the insurance provider.

15. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By making a booking, you acknowledge and accept our data processing practices.

16. Intellectual Property

All website content, design, graphics, and code are protected by intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

17. Amendments

MTG Travel reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

The version published on the website at the time of booking applies.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.

EU consumer protection laws remain applicable where mandatory.
